To raise money for the monkeys of Ecoparque el Fenix, Dave Bull, Thom Undrell, Nicholas Hall and Rob Coltman (from West Sussex, ENGLAND) went caving in Britains largest network of mines.
Sporting our logo and with only the aid of torches and a map, they went exploring in Box Mines, Wiltshire. Thank you for setting the bar so high with such an impressive (and scary) first sponsored event!
To see the full scope of this event please visit our ‘Gallery’ for exclusive mine photography.
To raise money for enclosure materials, Robyn Caules (from Brighton, ENGLAND) hosted a Christmas Tea-Party. Robyn sold her own hand-made gifts, home baked cakes and our Ecoparque el Fenix merchandise. Everyone enjoyed the event so much, it is all we kept seeing for days on our facebook group! Thank you to Robyn for a unique and creative event, and to all those who attended.
If you would like to see more photographs of the Christmas Tea Party, please visit our Gallery.
If you would like to put on a sponsored even to raise money for our monkeys, then please get in touch. Simply email: firstname.lastname@example.org with the title ‘Fund raiser’ and we will get back to you with helpful advice to make your event a successful and fun experience.
All money raised will be put towards materials for our new social enclosure to be built in 2014. Photographs of your event will be displayed on our website, and updates of your progress announced on twitter!
